Another budget camcorder for us in the name of DXG!
DXG camcorders have been quite popular nowadays, in fact, as I have observed –had been one of the mostly searched camcorders in the net today. The very first reason is because they are much cheaper compared to the Big Brothers such as the Sony, Panasonic and Cannon.
Most of the DXG camcorders are well- designed outside, and it really doesn't look like cheap at all. If you are familiar with DXG 595V HD Camcorder, its black and silver colored outer design is indeed stylistic, and doesn't seem to cost for only $200 or less, compared to other major brands with the price of at least $1,000!
Aside from that, DXG camcorders have also a very simple and elegant keys designed to be very user-friendly. Also, what's nice here is that with the new editions of these camcorders, they are more made to be light weight and very portable for travel use.

Depending on your DXG camcorder, you can still photos up to 8 mega pixels resolution and can record HD video up to 1280x720 at 30fps. It allows you to record in MPEG2 or MPEG4 format- a very compressed setting which in return gives you more capacity to store your photo stills and video recordings.
Also, some of these latest editions of DXG camcorders allow you to record on disc, instead on a tape or memory card, which is really very nice. These camcorders also has a feature that allows you to select the type of recording and image quality for you to choose- again, to be able to save more space for storage.
Although some of the DXG reviews may also talk about its flaws, with the price tag you have to pay, it is quite forgivable, especially if it is only intended for personal use, and not for professional of job purposes for that matter.
